cosas

.

Hay cosas en este mundo

que nos abrazan, nos lían

y que nos apartan sin más.

Cosas en nuestro lenguaje imbricadas

y cosas

que en el camino son sólo inmundicia.

Y están las cosas que a nuestros sentidos confunden

dispersas irracionales razones…

y gente que otea a otra cual extraños

y gente que indolente deviene

hay muchas cosas en este mundo

que no puedo entender

que no logro creer,

una de ellas este apartar aparente

entre la tuya y mi alma

ha de ser nuestra tierra

paisaje de Dios.

There are things in this world

that keep us cuddled

and things that keep us apart.

There are things that are merged

in our language

and things that are filth in the path,

and there are things that confuse our senses

unreasonable reasons spread

and people who stare at others like strangers

and people who live without care

there are many things in this world

which I don’t understand

which I still can’t embrace,

one of them is this vague separation

between mine and your soul

is our land

God’s landscape.
